At The Pines Vet, we offer a comprehensive range of services covering all aspects of veterinary medicine and surgery. We pride ourselves on offering a personal service where you know your pet always comes first - and where we can, we'll always use treatment before surgery. To us, the health and well-being of your best friend is what matters most. For a list of pricing on our routine surgeries (desexing, dentals, microchipping) call the clinic on 07 5665 7116, our staff are only too happy to help...
The Pines Vet uses the latest protocols as set out by the Australian Veterinary Association - including the dog triennial (3-yearly) vaccine. This also allows for socialisation of puppies from 10 weeks of age and eliminates the need of the old protocol of 3 vaccinations. The yearly heartworm injection for dogs is now licensed to use in puppies from 12 weeks of age for convenience. We offer the complete range of cat vaccinations including the Feline Aids Vaccine (FIV).
From routine de-sexings to more complex surgery, The Pines Vet offers it all. Your pet’s health and optimum recovery from anaesthetic are our priority and to ensure this, all our surgical cases are placed on a drip and given pain relief as standard. There is no extra cost incurred for this. Our patients are fully monitored during anesthetic and their recovery.
To complete our range of diagnostic tools, we are fully equipped with high end Ultrasonography. Same-day imaging and interpretation can be performed right in our building for comfort, ease, and convenience!
A convenient addition to our range of diagnostic equipment - Digital Xray. Instant developing for quick interpretation and results. All of this equipment within our walls to ensure we have your pet fully covered!
As part of our complete veterinary service we offer the convenience of consultations in your own home. We find this is especially useful for older or larger dogs and when the time comes to finally say goodbye in the comfort of your pet’s home.
With an in-house laboratory for instant results as well as access to several external laboratories, we offer a complete range of all the diagnostic testing your pet needs.
Oral health/hygiene is very important for optimum animal health. We perform routine dental prophys as well as the more complex orthodontic procedures.
We also offer cat grooming at The Pines Vet. This is particularly important as most our feline friends require sedation for such a procedure. As cats get older, they find it harder to groom themselves and can get easily matted - extremely uncomfortable! We have you completely covered for all your kitty cat grooming needs!
